somehow…
I have two new Earthbound themed boxpunx models that will release soon…as soon as I can get around to getting them printed and take some pictures. I’m out of colored ink, so my only option is Kinko’s, but I have no idea when that will happen.

Link from The Legend of Zelda is here! This model was inspired by the Ocarina of Time / Twilight Princess look. There are more details than the picture lets on, so check it out!

I have been sprucing up the site here and there. I’ve added some cool art from a fellow EB fan, as well as a new header. I plan on getting an actual domain and kicking this redirect crap at some point.
As far as paper is concerned, I have ideas for Cubees, Punx, and some original stuff all bouncing around in my head, and I hope to get to transferring those ideas to reality soon. Getting caught up in Warcraft and FFTA2 right now, among other things.
I hope to have some new stuff to post here soon

I’ve released my first original model for download here. Simple, I know this. I liked the idea though.

EBpunx is out! All 12 models are currently available to download on Harlancore! I hope everyone enjoys these as much as I did making them. My goal with this series was to fuse the EarthBound and Boxpunx styles together…That effort, along with Jason’s awesome promo work for the series has accomplished this objective.
I would like to extend thanks to Mr. Harlan for working with me on this project, and publishing it along side his other models! If you enjoy this series, there are a TON of awesome models available at his site, including an incredible Persona themed series.
Check it out!

So I’m building all of the final models to have some nice pictures for the download page. My printer here at home has been hurting in the ink department since I started this project, so I enlisted the help of a friendly bloke at Kinko’s by the name of Chad, to get some nice looking models going. I had them all printed on card stock, and boy oh boy do they look nice. Every model looks like exactly as it does on my computer screen, as opposed to the quality loss with most home printers. I’m really stoked to build all of these guys, and I think Jason will be able to release them within the next few days at the latest
I’ve readied a fresh blade, and cutting surface, so now it’s time to get myself some carpal tunnel syndrome.

oh boy, oh boy.
I spent a lot of time today going over the models, and I think I’m all finished toying with them. Now, I just have a few little things I need to do to get ready to get these bad boys released.
With that said, EBpunx should be coming to a pc near you very soon

So the EBpunx series is coming along nicely. Nearly finished with test builds for the set. I’ve had little doubts in the back of my head about certain characters, but after seeing their designs in person, a lot of those doubts were put to rest. Theres still quite a bit of touching up to do, but the series is farther along than I hoped to be at this point. I was up SUPER late last night finishing a model, and now after a good nights sleep I’m ready to get to work on this again

EBpunx, the Earthbound meets Boxpunx collaboration has been outed. For those who may not know (and I’m totally clueless as to how you found your way here, if that’s the case) EarthBound is a wonderful RPG released back in 1995 for the SNES. The game was not as well received initially, but its quirky sense of humor, amazing musical score, and uncommon charm helped develop a cult-classic following over the years.
Jason over at his site Harlancore has created this lovely promotional poster for the series, and I believe he’ll be taking care of the textual work for the promotional stuff on the final set. The only model shown there is Ness, whom would obviously be included anyway.
As of right now, twelve models are planned for the series to fall in line with the rest of the boxpunx format.
I’d like to keep the remaining 11 characters a secret for now… If it takes me longer than I have calculated to finish the series, I might release a few more characters, but ultimately I want to be completely finished with everyone before the printable models are released. Nevertheless, I will occasionally update this site with progressy stuff.
That’s all for now

Ahh. So here is where I hope to post some of the work I do in the way of paper crafts. I got into these things a short time ago, and was smitten with Cubeecraft. After making a few models on the site, I tried my hand at designing my own model using Chris’ template. Lucas and Claus were found to be cool enough to get posted on there, and that boosted morale on this end, spurring more and more designs as time went on. Chris introduced me to boxpunx from Harlancore, and that has since inspired me to create a themed set of boxpunx of my own.
So in summary, I’m a guy who makes paper crafts, but doesn’t use his own model designs….Everything I’ve done to this point has been using or a modification of one or more of the many AWESOME designs available on both those sites. I can’t stress more that designs I’ve come up with would have NEVER EXISTED EVER if it wasn’t for these fantastic artists. Their devotion and passion for their (paper) craft is quite inspiring.
Anyhoo, as this would be the first post here, I’d like to formally apologize to anyone who may (or may not) ever read this stuff, as I am terrible at writing and conveying speech/thoughts through text.
